Activity overview
Projecting torch light activity description, teachers' notes and curriculum links.
A circle of light appears when you shine a torch at a wall. The light is brightest in the centre and fades as you move towards the circumference of the circle.
An engaging activity in which students will estimate the radius of the light circle produced by shining a torch at various distances from the wall.
The activity sheet includes teacher notes, guidance, useful web links, and links (where appropriate) to the national curriculum in each of the four devolved UK nations; England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
All activity sheets and supporting resources are free to download, and all the documents are fully editable, so you can tailor them to your students' and your schools' needs.
