Host an event - FIRST® LEGO® League Explore
FIRST® LEGO® League Explore is a non-competitive, hands-on robotics-based STEM and life skills programme aimed at children aged 6 to 9.
The Institution of Engineering and Technology is very proud to be the operational partner for the FIRST® LEGO® League divisions in the UK & Ireland.
A FIRST® LEGO® League Explore Festival is the culmination of weeks of hard work for the teams and is what they are all working towards!
Teams are given the opportunity to share their work at the end of the challenge. It is a non-competitive event and is all about making the children feel proud of their work.
Each child receives a medal and certificate, and it is important to recognise the individuality of each team.
They will all have produced different ideas and models, so it is our job to make them feel proud of that – and encourage them to continue being innovators!
