Inspiring kids through our STEM campaigns

We’re passionate about STEM (science, engineering, technology and maths) and inspiring children to follow their dreams, get creative and have fun whilst learning how the world around them works.

Our campaigns are for children aged 4 to 16 years and aim to bring their imaginations alive to inspire them to engineer a better world in the future.

Engineering Kids Futures

The IET has joined forces with over 150 world-leading engineers, STEM ambassadors, professional institutions, and celebrities to urge the Government to help tackle the UK’s engineering skills shortage by embedding engineering into current primary school learning and support. #EngineeringKidsFutures

Easter for primary

Spring has sprung and what better way to celebrate than with eggs and chocolate, whilst still achieving your curriculum goals!

From graphic products making Easter cards to linking words and numbers on cracked egg shells, and even creating an Easter egg using papier mâché and a balloon. There is something to engage all young learners this springtime!

Discover your inner inventor

Starting with a cardboard box, we're asking children to consider all the possible creations they'd like to make. Why not make a castle with a drawbridge, use a Micro:bit from school in the design, or reuse recycled and everyday objects around the home to create a fun, STEM masterpiece this festive season?

Santa Loves STEM

Santa's STEM Workshop

Light the way for young minds this festive season, using our Christmas resources. Have fun in the classroom or at home, learning numbers with our dress the elf maths activity, make yummy Rudolph shaped thumbprint cookies, learn about oxidization by testing reactions of reindeer treats and create parachutes to deliver toys. There is something for everyone to enjoy over the holidays.
