Egyptian themed resources
Ancient Egypt has always been a really popular history topic to teach in primary school, but why stop there! We’re using the topic of Ancient Egypt to bring you a range of cross-curricular resources covering Design & Technology, Maths, History, Engineering and Art.
Our resources will get students making pieces of jewellery inspired by the ancient Egyptians, learning about scale and volume using pyramids made from paper, making papyrus from paper and even learning how to write their name and numbers in hieroglyphics!
Download the free resources below! And please do share your learning highlights and final creations with us on social media @IETeducation or send them via email to IETEducation@theiet.org to be featured in our online gallery.
If you enjoyed our Egyptian resources, why not try the Ancient Greece ones too?
We’re upgrading our systems, and this includes changes to our customer and member account log in, MyIET. It’s part of our big picture plan to deliver a great experience for you and our wider engineering community.
