FIRST® LEGO® League is a global science and technology competition for teams of young people, to encourage an interest in real world issues and develop key skills that are crucial for their future careers.

Ignites curiosity in young children, whilst developing their habits of learning.

STEAM parks

As well as the FIRST® LEGO® League Discover model, you will need to purchase some LEGO® STEAM parks – we recommend a minimum of one set between two groups, but one per group is preferable.

Age: 6 to 9

FIRST® LEGO® League Explore

Challenges teams to develop their coding, communication and problem-solving skills whilst researching real-world themes.

SPIKE™ Essential

You will need a LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential set to complete the Challenge.

Age: 9 to 16

FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge

Teams work to build and program an autonomous robot, research real-world problems, and develop crucial life skills.

SPIKE™ Prime

Within FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge, each team needs access to a set of LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime (core and expansion set).
