Registration - FIRST® LEGO® League Explore

Everything you need to know about registering your team for FIRST® LEGO® League Explore.

There are two registration options for FIRST® LEGO® League Explore

Option 1

FIRST® LEGO® League Explore Class Pack is a version of the globally successful FIRST® LEGO® League Explore that enables a teacher or coach to deliver the programme with a larger group of children. Class Pack is designed for a whole class of children working in multiple teams and costs between £87-£233 plus VAT.

Don’t forget that you will need some LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0s or LEGO® SPIKE Essential’s to complete the challenge. These can be purchased from our supplier STEMBricks - a division of Getech. You will also need a suitable tablet/laptop in order to download the free software to program your WeDo 2.0 or LEGO® SPIKE Essential.

We also have class top-up packs available to enable you to run FIRST® LEGO® League Explore with multiple classes.

Request loaned LEGO Education SPIKE Prime/Essential Robots and STEAM Parks to be used for the FIRST LEGO League 2024-25 season.

Option 2

A team of up to six members - Registration costs £32.00 plus VAT and includes:

  • 1 x Explore Set (box of LEGO® based around the annual theme)
  • 6 x Engineering Notebooks (one for each child)
  • 1 x Team Meeting Guide (for the coach)

The Explore Set includes the pieces needed to build the Explore Model (you can find the build instructions on the Team Resources page and lots of other LEGO® pieces for creative building!

For up to 18 children, working in three groups. Registration costs £87 plus VAT and includes:

EXPLORE5

For up to 30 children, working in five groups. Registration costs £147 plus VAT and includes:

  • 30 x Engineering notebooks
  • 30 x LEGO Medals
  • 30 x printable IET Certificates

EXPLORE7

For up to 42 children, working in seven groups. Registration costs £205 plus VAT and includes:

  • 7 x LEGO® Explore Sets
  • 2 x Team Meeting Guides
  • 1 x How to run Class Pack digital guide
  • 42 x Engineering notebooks
  • 42 x LEGO Medals
  • 42 x printable IET Certificates

EXPLORE8

For up to 48 children, working in eight groups. Registration costs £233 plus VAT and includes:

  • 8 x LEGO® Explore Sets
  • 2 x Team Meeting Guides
  • 1 x How to run Class Pack digital guide
  • 48 x Engineering notebooks
  • 48 x LEGO Medals
  • 48 x printable IET Certificates

TOPUP3

For an additional 18 children, working in three groups and using the LEGO® Explore Sets from the class pack registration. Registration costs £24 plus VAT and includes:

  • 18 x LEGO Medals

For an additional 30 children, working in five groups and using the LEGO® Explore Sets from the class pack registration. Registration costs £36 plus VAT and includes:

Please note: we are very pleased to be able to offer FIRST® LEGO® League Explore top-up packs at these low costs. However, once our current stock has gone, registration costs, unfortunately, may have to increase.
