Don’t Miss The Solar Tower Challenge!

Monday 17 June 2024 is our final STEM Session of the year – The Solar Tower Challenge! This is an exclusive invitation for YOUR students in Years 8 and 9 across England and Wales, S2 and S3 across Scotland, and Years 9 and 10 across Northern Ireland to join us online for this FREE, virtual event!

  • Your students will undertake a captivating engineering challenge – building their very own Solar Tower
  • Hosted by The Smallpeice Trust, these sessions are designed to provide your students with a unique and immersive experience, encouraging them to explore the exciting world of engineering.
  • Materials: Utilising everyday items readily available, we provide a kit list for easy sourcing of materials.
  • Students can join as many sessions as desired, and multiple students can join together.
  • Once registered, you’ll receive all the details on requirements for the event.

  • Fully Funded Experience: This virtual event is generously funded by The Smallpeice Trust, ensuring accessibility for all students.
  • Curriculum-Aligned Activities: Our STEM Session activities are virtual, interactive workshops led by Smallpeice Trust educators, aligning with the national curriculum in England and helping to meet GATSBY benchmarks.
  • Life and Leadership Skills: Beyond academic knowledge, these sessions empower your students to build essential life and leadership skills in partnership with the Skills Builder initiative.
